When we began this lifestyle we hadn't planned to add pigs. However Steve got offered a great deal on a goat and pair of Kune Kune cross piglets. Needless to say we took and and these little girls came with such BIG personalities. Now they are grown and once the new pasture is in we intend to add a Kune Kune boar to the mix.  Raising our own meat animals is challenging some days and so worth it others.  and we found out the hard way pigs are escape artists!
